Manufacturing & Production
Bench assembly, part sorting and electronic component insertion recorded at the workstation.
Sample is an annotation visualisation. Raw stereo video is delivered without overlays.
Overview
Industrial and electronics assembly is where dexterous robots earn their keep first. This dataset records precision bench work — sorting fasteners, inserting LEDs and capacitors, assembling small parts — from the operator's point of view, with both hands visible over the work surface.
Two published samples include annotation layers that show what richer deliveries look like: one overlays 2D hand keypoints and part bounding boxes, the other shows a stereo pair with a reprojected 3D hand pose. Annotations are an add-on and quoted separately from raw video.
All manufacturing scenarios are priced as complex: small parts, tight tolerances and two-handed coordination make them some of the most information-dense footage in the catalog.
Environments
- Electronics assembly benches
- Light-industrial workstations
- Parts sorting stations
Built for
- Dexterous manipulation and bimanual policy learning
- Fine-grained action recognition for assembly QA
- 3D hand pose estimation and hand–object contact
- Task-progress and error detection on production lines
Scenarios
PreviewScrew and Nut Sorting and Assembly
Picking fasteners from mixed trays, sorting by type and threading nuts onto screws — precise bimanual pinch grasps.
PreviewSmall Electronic Component Insertion and Assembly
Picking LEDs and capacitors from a bin and inserting them into boards — millimetre-scale insertion with fingertip control.
Capture specifications
Measured from the published source samples with ffprobe. Per-session metadata is delivered with every order.

FAQ
Is the hand-pose annotation included in the hourly price?
No. The $35/hour price covers raw video. Hand keypoints, 3D hand pose and action segmentation are quoted per project because they depend on volume and label spec.
Can you collect on our own product or line?
Yes, through custom collection. We scope the task, recruit trained operators and record to your spec. Custom data can be licensed exclusively.
Are factory logos or products visible?
Samples are reviewed before release. Delivered data is screened for faces and identifying marks according to the licence terms agreed in the quote.
