Licensing

How licensing works

Plain-language summary. The signed licence agreement is what governs.

Default: non-exclusive commercial training licence

All in-stock datasets are licensed non-exclusively. You may use the data to train, evaluate and fine-tune models, and to deploy and sell those models commercially. The same data may be licensed to other buyers.

Exclusive licences

Exclusivity — permanent, time-bound or limited to a field of use — is available on custom collections and, case by case, on stock data that has not been licensed in conflict. It is quoted per project.

What every licence states

  • Datasets, scenarios and confirmed hour count
  • Permitted use, territory and term
  • Whether contractors (labelling vendors, cloud providers) may access the data
  • Redistribution restrictions — raw data may not be resold
  • Privacy and de-identification obligations
  • Named end buyer

Why we ask for the end buyer

We license to the organisation that trains on the data. Knowing it upfront lets us check for conflicts with existing exclusive licences before you invest time in evaluation. Resellers and integrators are welcome and are named alongside the end buyer.

Inventory confirmation

Hour counts marked indicative are confirmed in writing in your quote before you pay. Only hours confirmed in the signed agreement are sold.
