Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026.
These terms cover your use of dataclue.app and the DataClue MCP server at dataclue.app/mcp (together, the “service”), including when an AI assistant uses the service on your behalf. By using the service you agree to them.
What the service does
The service lets you browse DataClue's catalog of AI training data, view sample clips, specifications and list prices, and send requests for evaluation samples, pilots, quotes or custom collection. No purchase is made through the service: data is licensed only under a separate, signed licence agreement, which governs that data. See how licensing works.
Requests you send
- Send requests only for yourself or an organisation you are authorised to represent, using your own contact details.
- A quote, estimate or list price shown by the service is not an offer. Hours, scope and price are confirmed in writing.
- If an AI assistant sends a request for you, you are responsible for checking what it sends.
Sample clips and content
Sample clips and other content on the service are provided for evaluating DataClue data. You may not download them in bulk, use them to train models, or redistribute them without a licence. Evaluation samples sent to you are covered by the evaluation terms that come with them.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no automated bulk requests, attempts to disrupt or overload it, false or spam requests, or attempts to access parts of it that are not public. We may limit or block access that breaks these terms.
No warranty and liability
The service is provided “as is”. Catalog details are described carefully but may change; hour counts marked indicative are confirmed in your quote. To the extent the law allows, DataClue is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Privacy
How we handle information you send is described in our privacy notice.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: contact@dataclue.app. DataClue operates from Jersey City, United States and Hong Kong.
